JOB: Area Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced sales professional, ready to take ownership of a sales territory. They will maintain and grow existing customer relationships, actively engaging with prospective customers to gain new accounts and increase sales volume.

Role:

  • Call in regularly on existing free trade and Pub Company customers within their sales territory, nurturing and strengthening customer relationships and increasing product range on tap, driving volume.
  • Actively prospect new business within the free trade, across all routes to market an individual site level, boosting sales figures and achieving sales targets.
  • Prospect Pub Co’s to establish relationships and regular ordering patterns.
  • Lead brand activations and promotions on site.
  • Attend weekly meetings and report on the performance of their sales area.
  • Present at trade events, such as The Great British Beer Festival and regional CAMRA festivals, TTOs and Meet the Brewer Events.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience of selling beer within the free trade space.
  • Highly motivated, results driven individual.
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Understanding of profitability and a strong commercial awareness.
  • Must be a self-motivated, organised and energetic individual.
  • Must be flexible and willing to take a hands-on approach across the business.
  • Passion and professionalism with an optimistic outlook to life and beer.

Salary: Dependent on experience, plus targeted bonus scheme.

Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Field-Based, with one day min. per week at Brewery.

Bank holidays.
